Okay, so it's no secret that I heart all things Morrissey.
And yes, I have an ever growing fondness for The Killers.
So frankly, it should come as no suprise to find that I love this cover of 'Why Don't You Find Out for Yourself'. It is near flawless. Brandon and Co mange to make it their own while simultaneously keeping what was great about it in the first place. The drama. The tension. The macabre threatening humour. The understated yet theatrical delivery. Simply put, a great cover of a great song.

Where did this originate from? Love both acts, and still think Vauxhall & I is Moz's finest moment.
Cheers for posting this.
I LOVE why don't you find out for yourself but I don't think it's a great cover because it is too similar to the original. I much prefer Muse's cover of Please, please please... because it does something completely different.
The end credits of 'Control' feature The Killers doing a JD cover (Shadowplay) which is also quite good.
I find it just a bit worrying however that the better stuff they're churning out right now are covers..
I agree the Morrissey cover is great. The Killers choose great songs to cover, the Joy Division cover is fuckign great also. I really like the new Go Station cover of New Order's "True faith" as well. All the new Dylan covers are good for the most part also. Keep bringing on the covers!
