The last night of our young lives

I'm a bit of a late comer to The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart.

But hey, better late than never!

As they've been pretty much inescapable in the world of blogs, I'm pretty sure they don't actually need a introduction from me. Suffice to say, if you like your music with a heavy dose of twee, a big dollop of smiling indie boy-girl harmonies, a dash of fuzz and a spoonful of innocence to help the whole thing go down, then this is the band for you. Bookish, every so slightly cute and the perfect soundtrack to the kind of summery day that I can see from my window. It is what you could easily describe as infectious and simply quite lovely.

The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart - come saturday (live session version) original version available on 'The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart'

The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart - 103 (live session version)

The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart - Kurt Cobain's Cardigan (live session version)
