Book of Nature: Pressing Plants

Probably the cheesiest title I have ever come up with but it is the truth. This is my book of nature. It is where I keep my lovely pressed plants. I have been pressing plants my whole life (who hasn't) but it has never accured to me until this year that I could actually keep them forever on these wonderful pages.
The plants that I have collected have always somehow dissappeared from the pages of the heavy books I kept them in but now I take them into my precious little notebook and play around with them to see how they would look good, or how they would not break (believe me they are so fragile at this point). Right now these are the only plants I have gotten this Autumn. Maybe in the future I will stumble upon more beautiful plants that I could fill up the pages with.
This is probably my favorithe page right now. I love that when I collected that plant it was closer to a blackish purple but now it is becoming lighter and much more beautiful. So here are a couple close-up shots.
If you have free time in your hands, this is definitely an activity to fill it up with. Oh and thank you for all the wonderful comments you have been leaving! You guys are my favorite :)

What I Found #7: Empty Casket

I found out about Empty Casket a while back and I really love their pieces. I think that they are very original and I kinda wish I had all of them! So that is why I dedicate this post to this shop and I think that you all will love it!
Silver Deer Skull (This is my favorite!)

What I Wore: Stripes of Autumn

Sweater: Thrifted
Shirt: USPolo
Bracelet: c/o Twillypop
Purse: Blanco
Hair Clip: Thrifted

I have my own personal style that I would like to share with you. You might or might not find it fashionable. I tend to dress according to my mood or the weather of course. Since it is Autumn I wanted to take some photographs of one of my outfits that I certainly enjoyed wearing. I find sweaters really comfortable and I just can't stop wearing them. The other thing I wanted to say that the bracelet I'm wearing is probably my favorite. Twillypop sent it over to me a while back (I won it in a giveaway) and I just couldn't stop wearing it! I find the chevron idea very clever :)
Also, I have to say that the heart shaped purse is one of my favorite purses because it is very tiny and whenever I don't feel like bringing along anything but my cell phone, lipstick & some money I tend to use this purse! It was also a present from my sister she got it from Spain which makes it even more valuable.

PS: Have you realized my awesome new hair. My sister & my mom did it for me!

Collection: Pencils

I did share my Pokémon collection a while back and that is probably one of my biggest collections. I started collecting pencils when I was in 4th grade. That was the time when I moved to New York from Istanbul. I recieved a pencil on my birthday in school and I never used it (but I do not know which one it is) so I started to collect. After that I would get a pencil for every occasion like holidays, birthdays, field trips, good grades etc.

Summer Vacation on Film

You guys know that I like traveling by now so this post isn't really a surprise. I had a 10 day vacation over the summer in Bodrum, Turkey. It was pretty awesome we took some photographs and had lots of fun. These photos I'm going to share are taken with a smena 8m. It is a fully manual camera that was given to me by my grandmother.
Workers at the hotel, they were really really friendly! :)
You can find some of these on my Flickr page. Also I should mention that this is in order from bottom to top, so the last photo would be one of the firsts that we took and the first photo with the fisherman is taken on our way back.
PS: I'm on Bloglovin now! Follow if you'll like, it is located on the left side of my blog! :)
