Hey Teacher, Leave Them Kids Alone! /WIW

I left this place for a while again and I'm really sorry. The reasons of me not making a post for all this time is actually quite much. First of all I had finals and I had to study. Secondly, I got bronchitis a little so I've been coughing like crazy for the past 10 days which has taken my mood down, by a lot. Thirdly, I haven't been inspired due to the second factor. And last but not least the events that have been going on in Taksim, Istanbul.

What happened in Taksim? is maybe a question you're asking yourself. Well it started in Gezi Park, Taksim which was going to be demolished to make a shopping mall. Gezi Park is one of the few green spaces left in Taksim which is the center of Istanbul. People peacefully protested in the park with reading, singing, dancing and putting up tents to sleep at night so they wouldn't leave the park for even a minute. And one morning at 5 am police attacked all those innocent people with teargas and pressured water and this led to a whole new thing of fighting for our rights that have been opressed by the government for sometime. It has been 20 days and its still going on. A lot of people are injured and a couple of them have lost their lives which shows that excessive force was definitely used. I only went 1 day and it was really crowded but everyone was united for one purpose and it was really nice to see that. This is just a brief explanation but please do check out the Facebook page and browse through the photos and articles, you'll understand more :)

Remember the time I went to a clothing swap event? Well this shirt is from there! I love it soo soo much because well its comfortable, stylish and most importantly its Wizard of OZ! I wanted to style it with my new skirt from H&M which is also extremely comfortable and its not even that short :)
Bracelet: Twillypop
MooBooCo sent me this bag because I won a giveaway on Aqeela's Blog and I'm really happy with it. I've always wanted one but I didn't acutally know of MooBoo and other places listed crazy prices for these. There isn't much room for a lot of things and the things to put in this bag would usually have to be flat but it does have a zipper at the side that extends the bag a little :) I would definitely buy bags from them because they are really customer friendly and I wasn't even a customer really. They sent me a bag and when it was lost they sent me another, they made sure I got my hands on one of these babies and that was really nice of them. I can't thank them enough for the gesture and Aqueela for holding that awesome giveaway!

To die by your side is such a heavenly way to die/ WIW

You must know by now that I always wear things that are comfortable. I say this because I don't go out and buy something because I think its pretty. I ask myself a ton of questions like; will I be comfortable in this, will it keep me warm, is it cosy, is the material cheap looking, do I need this etc. These questions really do keep me from spending too much because I like saving my money. I save it so I can get the things I really like much more faster & easier.

First of all I absolutely love my boots. I've been looking everywhere for boots before the winter sale was over and then I saw these babies and had to get them. They keep my feet so warm and they are extremely comfortable. Secondly, the bag and the watch are given to me by my mom. She bought the bag in the 80s and the watch even before that but she kept them ever since and since I'm a vintage lover I couldn't resist! Aren't they pretty?! Lastly, this owl necklace was given to my mom by our neighbor at the states. It was so nice of her to give such a beautiful necklace that now I get to use!

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone out there! I believe that you are all special and even if you are single there are people out there that love you. Today I wore my new sweater which was a recent purchase that I got on sale and I thought the color was definitely suited for today. I don't really feel that it is a day to be treated speacial but everyone seems to do that so why not make an exception today.
Sweater: H&M          Shirt: H&M          Bag: Gift          Shoes: Koton          Pin: Gift

Sorry that I'm holding the candy in my hand in all of the photos but I threw out the wrapper without thinking that I probably wouldn't eat the whole thing, so I ended up carrying it. I also want to say that it was the first time I used this bag and I really like the tassle detail, it gives me a bohem feel. Also I wanted to ask you guys if you would like to see anything different in my blog, like maybe if I write more or put more photographs. So tell me anything, if you would like to ask me questions I will put my email here soon but for now you can reach me on my twitter, I'm usually active! :)

PS: I'm getting a hair cut tomorrow!

Words are very unnecessary they can only do harm/ WIW

Hat: LCW   Sweater: H&M   Ring: Thrifted/Bazaar

This is my outfit today and I just wanted to show you what I usually wear, I know there is nothing speacial to it. I don't really have certain style I just like to put on whatever I like and feel comfortable in. I bought this hat just a couple of days ago and I love it so much! I have been looking around for them a really long time and just when I was leaving the shop I saw them and they were on sale so I was really happy. It so comfortable and lovely. I mean who doesn't love a hat with a face on it, come on. Also, I got this sweater a while back for winter and you guys it keeps me so warm! I'm so happy with it.

P.S: I don't know if you can see it but the ring has Marilyn Monroe on it.
P.S1: Sorry for the goofy photographs :)

What I Wore: Pastel Colors & Polka Dots

Dress: koton
Sweater: from my cousin
Tights: thrifted
Bracelet: c/o baublebar (they don't have this one anymore!)
Necklace: handmade/blogged HERE

I'm in love with my new sweater that my cousin gave me. There were other colors but I didn't think I would feel comfortable having my neck closed all the time so I only took this one. I wish I had taken the others because it doesn't bother me at all and it is really comfortable. Also, it keeps me insanely warm!

I really love this bracelet from Baublebar. I got it from them a while back. Me and my sister love it so much because it is so beautiful. It has a giraffe print in gold, I think that is a brilliant idea.

P.S: It started snowing today and everywhere is covered already.

What I Wore: Stripes of Autumn

Sweater: Thrifted
Shirt: USPolo
Bracelet: c/o Twillypop
Purse: Blanco
Hair Clip: Thrifted

I have my own personal style that I would like to share with you. You might or might not find it fashionable. I tend to dress according to my mood or the weather of course. Since it is Autumn I wanted to take some photographs of one of my outfits that I certainly enjoyed wearing. I find sweaters really comfortable and I just can't stop wearing them. The other thing I wanted to say that the bracelet I'm wearing is probably my favorite. Twillypop sent it over to me a while back (I won it in a giveaway) and I just couldn't stop wearing it! I find the chevron idea very clever :)
Also, I have to say that the heart shaped purse is one of my favorite purses because it is very tiny and whenever I don't feel like bringing along anything but my cell phone, lipstick & some money I tend to use this purse! It was also a present from my sister she got it from Spain which makes it even more valuable.

PS: Have you realized my awesome new hair. My sister & my mom did it for me!

Scarfbands You Say?

A while back I went to the Turkish Bazaar which I have mentioned on a post and bought what I call scarfbands. They are not headbands and they are too thin to actually be scarfs. So I call them scarfbands. I bought them to use it for my hair and yesterday I sat down and tried on different styles with my newly bought scarfbands. You'll love the patterns on these cuties and they are sooo soo cheap. One was 55 cents! So that means I spent a total of $1.65 on all of them. Neat right? I'll surely never regret buying these.
I must say that the last one is my fave, which one is your fave?
